Our Fall 2025 class session of THE SPARK of Le Flambeau ran for five weeks during the months of October and November, with youth in Haiti. This is the program’s 17th year and this was the second-ever class exclusively for young ladies. The quality was exceptional.
We’re thrilled to congratulate every single young lady in Haiti who took part in this session. Their enthusiasm and the high caliber of their work left a lasting impression on us all. We owe immense gratitude to Ms. Alexis Floyd, our invaluable class facilitator, teacher, and English Grader. This marked her fourth year with us for this program.
Join us in celebrating our Grand Winner, whose achievements are best described by Ms. Alexis Floyd herself…

Now we must announce our winner! Congratulations to Doeldine Agenor. She came, she saw, and she made a difference. Week after week, her responses were thoughtful, authentic, and often rooted in real examples from her community. She uplifted her peers while also challenging ideas with insight and respect. Her contributions carried a genuine reverence for women and a deep commitment to their advancement within her community. In summary of her words (listed below). Doeldine Agenor , you are THE SPARK of Le Flambeau!
“I would like all women to achieve their objectives. And for that, my community has to do something like value women. I want the women’s roles to change, for women to play a big role in the economy, to bring positive change, and so much more for my community”. (Doeldine A.)
