In addition to the following Board of Directors, Le Flambeau Foundation is supported by an independent scholarship committee along with a seasoned team of advisors focused on guiding and grooming our young future leaders for a stronger sustainable new Haiti.

Jean St.Lôt-Gervais

Mr. Jean St.Lôt-Gervais is President and founding member of the Board for Le Flambeau Foundation .  Mr. St.Lot-Gervais is originally from Haiti and has an extensive track record in working with the public and private sectors in both Haiti and the U.S, and consistently making good things happen.   Mr. St.Lôt-Gervais served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Clinton Business Development Council for Haiti, spearheaded by Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbott. Mr. Jean St.Lôt-Gervais has 20+ years of community development accomplishments.  He has truly  gifted many with his talent for giving back to Haiti, professionally and personally.

Joseph Puchner

Mr. Joseph Puchner is a founding member of the Board of Directors for Le Flambeau Foundation .  Mr. Puchner is an attorney and partner at Quarles & Brady LLP with specialized experience in international business and immigration law.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Puchner served as vice consul for the U.S. Embassy in Haiti; this experience helped to fuel his passion for Haiti to this day.  Mr. Puchner is a graduate of Marquette University (summa cum laude) and earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School (with distinction).

Sheri Colas-Gervais

Ms. Sheri Colas-Gervais is a founding member of the Board of Directors and serves as executive director for Le Flambeau Foundation .  Ms. Colas-Gervais is an accomplished economic development and global marketing professional with a concentration in culture innovation, education, and job creation.  Ms. Colas-Gervais’ past success in workforce development and educational programming for U.S. corporations in Haiti and in the U.S. played an instrumental role in the development of current Le Flambeau Foundation preparatory programming.   Ms. Colas-Gervais earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, is a graduate of Marquette University,, and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute (#1 in the country). country)..

Gregory Collingwood

Mr. Gregory Collingwood is Treasurer of Le Flambeau Foundation .  Mr. Collingwood is a highly accomplished professional with extensive expertise as an Investment Adviser, influenced by his past leadership roles in finance and operations for Amoco & GE.  Mr. Collingwood is very committed to education and served on the Board of Directors of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.  Mr. Collingwood graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a degree in Chemical Engineering and from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an MBA in Finance (with honors).

Andrew Holman

Mr. Andrew (Andy) Holman is a member of the Board of Directors for Le Flambeau Foundation .  Mr. Holman is a CPA and a principal of Ritz Holman CPA’s.  Mr. Holman is focused on nonprofit audit and financial management.  In addition to his 40-plus years of nonprofit experience, he serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin — Milwaukee, teaching a graduate course in nonprofit accounting and financial management, part of the Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management.  Mr. Holman holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Accounting and Community Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a certified public accountant.
