I already start this year with a new status. If you ask I may tell you…
As you ask… the answer is I am a senior this semester. One of the most exciting things about it is I am getting closer to the target. Reflecting on this past Fall semester, I had 8 classes. It was a bit challenging with 20 credit hours and 15 hours of work per week. The one credit or two credits classes made it more challenging because they required as much as or much more work than the three credit hours classes. For instance, my instrumental arranging class was a two-credit hours class; I had to spend hours and sometimes a whole night arranging piece. Time I did not spend working on Taxation which was a three-credit hours class. Time management is very significant for each student on that campus. As for work, I am still working on sales tax for my department on campus.
The past semester was challenging, it aIso brought satisfaction at the end. I could not be happier to spend the holidays anywhere else than with my family in Haiti. It was the best way to end a year and start a new one. I had a wonderful time with family, and friends. It was good to go to my native country after two years and seven months, and see what is happening. I utterly agree with Mr. Mandel’s statement, “Education is the most powerful tool to change a nation.” I am so thankful for Le Flambeau Foundation , and for every supporter that agree to contribute to make a difference in someone’s life. I know the significance of making a difference, a positive impact on someone!
