Youth Interview with Menson

Youth participants in Le Flambeau Foundation programming, specifically THE SPARK of Le Flambeau, were interviewed over the year 2014. Following is the candid feedback provided. The students live in Haiti and are between the ages of 17 and 25. English is their second or third language.

Menson H.What does Le Flambeau Foundation mean to you?
For me, Le Flambeau Foundation is a space of opportunities for young. It is a way which allows young to think the future of Haiti.

What do you see as the future of Haiti?
The future of Haiti is already announced in young minds. The future of this country can be bright if each one makes what he could do for it in his one field.

What role would you like to play in the future of Haiti?
In the future of Haiti, I want to become a great defender of human rights.

Are there any final words / comments that you would like to share?
“The value of my involvement was to let Haitian society know I could help my country to coming of poverty. Then now, as the Spark of Le Flambeau Of the spring session, I offer myself to be pioneer of the change.

My final words for all people is :”Engage yourself in the fight.”
