HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
The year 2024 has flown by, and as we approach its end, we also look towards the year ahead. It has been a year of significant activity for the Le Flambeau Foundation .
We celebrate notable strides in empowering youth in Haiti. Three promising scholars received vital upskilling in the crucial fields of electrical and technology trades. Two impactful “THE SPARK of Le Flambeau” preparatory classes engaged over fifty young minds, culminating in an inspiring in-person awards ceremony in the Cap-Haïtien area. We are also grateful for our continued partnership with Babbel, providing our youth with ongoing English language learning and expanded global access. A historic moment was marked in November as we awarded the first two Dr. Luc L. Colas College Scholarships to aspiring young agronomists, paving the way for a more sustainable future for Haiti.
Globally, 2024 has witnessed significant change, and more is on the horizon. Haiti remains a prominent focus in global conversations, and economic rebuilding continues to be a collective effort. The spirit of resilience and the determination to overcome challenges are stronger than ever, with education serving as a cornerstone for sustainable development and a key driver of progress.
We extend our sincere gratitude for your unwavering support throughout 2024. We look forward to an even more impactful and inspiring year in 2025. As you reflect on the past year and plan for the future, please consider including the Le Flambeau Foundation in your year-end giving. Join us in leaving a lasting legacy.
Warmest Season’s Greetings,
