Winners of THE SPARK of Le Flambeau 2012 light the torch
These are exciting times as we announce winners of the THE SPARK of Le Flambeau program, for Spring semester 2012. We are certain that throughout this exchange program with team members in Haiti and in the U.S., the educational contributions of each award recipient served as a spark in some way for a young person or persons in our communities. The torch was lit and passed forward.
The top THE SPARK of Le Flambeau winners are Christopher from Haiti (pictured) and Rachel from the U.S. – full details and pictures are provided below.
Thank you to the Graders, Mrs. D. Fallahay and Professor Josh, who volunteered their time and passion in providing constructive feedback to student team members and in selecting the winners. Thank you to the University of Miami for embracing this program and providing the volunteer U.S. students for this newly formatted version. To every active member of the team this past semester – Impressive!
The next class will launch in September. It is clear that the torch is lit and being passed forward. Congratulations!!!
Warm Regards,
